Referring Veterinarians

We will use our knowledge, skills, and resources to provide the best care possible to your patient. We will practice in a manner that reflects our deepest respect and compassion for each patient.  At IVS we pride ourselves in getting patients into the hospital as soon as possible to get them the help they need. With our 24-hour Emergency department patients can be seen immediately if an emergency. If an appointment is needed within our specialty departments simply call IVS and we will work with you to get your patient into the hospital as soon as possible. Typically we are able to get your patient into the hospital the same day or next day.

 

 

Once your patient is at IVS care begins promptly. Our doctors and technicians work together to provide same day diagnosis, treatment, surgery, etc. Your patient is under regular observation and care from our team around the clock.

 

 

 

While your patient is at IVS and we will do everything possible to communicate effectively with you. On a daily basis you will receive a personal phone call and/or fax from our treating providers updating you on the status of your patient.

 

If you have a particular way you would like to be updated regarding your patient please make our Patient Care Coordinator aware of your preferences.

It is extremely important to us to keep our prices current and competitive. In this effort, you will find our costs are many times lower than comparble emergency and specailty referral hospitals. Before services are provided we will provide written, detailed estimates to your clients. With many surgeries follow- up appointments are free/ included in the initial surgery price.

 

 

 

Visits from our referring veterinarians are welcome and encouraged! The next time your patient is referred to us, come to our hospital and experience our care first hand. Our referring veterinarians are welcome at IVS at all times.
