Dr. Brent Reimer, DVM, DACVS

Dr. Reimer joined Iowa Veterinary Specialties in 2007 as the staff surgeon. 

Dr. Reimer attended the University of Iowa where he majored in biology and botany. He received his DVM degree from Iowa State University in 1999 and subsequently performed a one-year small-animal internship at Michigan State University. He next completed a three-year residency in small-animal surgery at the University of California, Davis. Following his residency, he served on the faculty of Iowa State University for approximately three years. 

He achieved Diplomate status with the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in 2003 and is currently Des Moines only board certified surgeon.
